Acting Chairman, Jonathan Patton

Jonathan Patton has been Chairman (Acting) since March 2020 having first joined the South Eastern HSC Trust Board as a Non-Executive Director on 1st January 2017.

Jonathan brings long experience across the Private, Public and Charity Sectors with a career spanning several industries at both Senior Management and Director level.  As a Management Consultant, Jonathan has continued to work with businesses and charities on governance, performance improvement, recruitment as well as health and safety policy and implementation.

In addition to his role with the Trust, Jonathan is the current Chairman of Community Rescue Service (non-remunerated) and has extensive experience as a panel member on Fitness to Practice Committees for Barristers, Pharmacists and Social Workers holding appointments with the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland, the Bar Council for Northern Ireland and the Solicitors’ Disciplinary Tribunal.

To lead and direct the Trust to ensure delivery of efficient and effective health and social services within allocated resources and the policies and practices of sound corporate governance. The Chief Executive is the Trust’s accountable officer to the DHSSPS for all matters relating to the performance of the Trust and the discharge of delegated statutory functions.

Roisin Coulter, who began her career as a nurse at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London in 1987, has been appointed as the Chief Executive of the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust.

Roisin moved back to Northern Ireland in 1992 and has devoted 34 years to Health and Social Care.

Roisin has been a member of the Trust’s Senior Management Team for the past 9 years in the role of Director of Planning, Performance and Informatics.
