Christmas Card Appeal 2020

3rd December 2020
Christmas Card Appeal

The festive holidays can often be a lonely time for those with no family and friends to celebrate with. 2020 has been a very difficult year, as we have had to learn to live with COVID-19 restrictions on our social lives to keep everyone safe, leaving many people feeling isolated and alone.

This year to bring a smile to someone, we are asking each member of staff to send a Christmas card to someone that they have lost touch with, an elderly neighbour or somebody living alone. Another option is to send a card to the staff and residents in one of our Trust facilities or a local Nursing Home.

It is a small gesture and will only take a few minutes of your time, but it could make a huge difference and mean the world to someone who is facing the holiday period alone.

If every staff member sends just one card, that would make over 12,000 connections, spreading some much needed Christmas spirit and support to our local communities.

Cards do not have to be bought; we encourage everyone to get creative or to invite a young person in their household to use their crafting skills to create a unique masterpiece!

We hope you will join us with this campaign and help to makes someone’s Christmas special.
