Nurse Led Clinics
Our nursing team is made up of highly skilled nurse specialists that care for and support patients with colorectal cancer. They form part of the multi-disciplinary team and provide key worker support to patients and their families with a cancer diagnosis throughout their cancer journey.
Their role also involves assessment, and treatment for patients with non- cancerous colorectal conditions.
Patients requiring a stoma as part of their treatment require advice, support and counselling prior to and following surgery. This support continues in the community, nurse led stoma clinics and adhoc clinics.
Specialist nursing support is provided in the Inpatient, Day procedure and Outpatient settings.
Our weekly nurse-led clinics cover:
- Nurse led stoma clinics
- Preassessment clinics
- Colorectal Cancer results clinics with Colorectal surgeons
- Nurse led Bowel dysfunction clinic
- Nurse led Holistic Need Assessment clinic
- Nurse led Cancer review clinic
