Skin Cancer

At Dermatology we assess, diagnose and treat various types of skin cancers. The most common types being Basal cell carcinomas, squamous cell carcinomas, melanomas and other rarer types of skin tumours. Precancerous conditions also treated are Bowen’s disease and Actinic Keratosis. The department offers diagnostic service, dermatosurgery procedures, Photodynamic therapy and Cryotherapy. Dermatology offer referral services to the plastics team, MOHs surgery, radiotherapy and oncology.

In Plastic Surgery we investigate, diagnose and treat patients with Basal cell carcinoma, Squamous cell carcinoma, Melanoma and rarer skin cancers such as Merkel cell carcinoma and patients with metastatic skin cancer.

The Plastic Surgery Department offers:

  • Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy
  • Microsurgery
  • Nodal clearance surgery
  • Reconstructive Surgery
