What is Care Opinion?
Care Opinion is an Online User Feedback platform which is widely used by 500+ healthcare providers across the UK and has been in operation for 16 years. It is a place for people to be able to share their experiences of health and care in ways which are safe, simple, and lead to learning and change.
Northern Ireland’s health and social care providers have been using care Opinion since August 2020.
Who reads and responds to the stories?
A service tree is developed and provided to Care Opinion to link a responder to each area of service within the Trust. Upon receipt of a story, Care Opinion administrators alert the most appropriate responder in the service tree in order to support response as close to the experience as possible and as quickly as possible.
