What does PARS entail for the Client?
PARS provides a 12 week programme with the aim of supporting clients in meeting the CMO physical activity recommendations for physical scheme and to increase the long term adherence in physical activity. It is designed for those with health related conditions who may benefit from regular physical activity under the guidance of qualified exercise professionals. The programme helps individuals manage and improve their overall health conditions and encourages people of all abilities to take part. It offers support and motivation to become physically active.
Once you have been referred by your health professional you will be contact by your local PARS team and invited to an initial Consultation. At this consultation you will meet your PARS facilitator, have a health and wellbeing assessment, discuss and set goals, sign up for PARS 12 weeks membership, have an induction to the leisure facilities. Reviews are offered at 4, 8 and 12 weeks.
