First Steps Day Nurseries at the Ulster Hospital and Lagan Valley have trained, committed staff who aim to offer a home from home experience for the children , delivering quality care in a safe, loving and welcoming environment. The nurseries boast an enthusiastic team of experienced staff who aim to provide a range of play based activities to encourage each child to reach their full potential. A few activities offered to the children are painting, sand and water play, imaginative play, physical activities, cookery, arts and crafts and heuristic play. The children will also have the opportunity for outdoor play in our safe secure areas.
We currently have a number of spaces available in both units.
