First Steps Day Nursery at the Ulster Hospital have trained, committed staff who aim to offer a home from home experience for the children , delivering quality care in a safe, loving and welcoming environment. The nursery first steps at the ulster and Lagan valley hospitals, boasts an enthusiastic team of experienced staff who aim to provide a range of play based activities to encourage each child to reach their full potential! A few activities offered to the children are painting, sand and water play, imaginative play, physical activities, cookery, arts and crafts and heuristic play. The children will also have the opportunity for outdoor play in our safe secure area.
The nursery is open to both staff of the South Eastern Trust and the general public.
We currently have a number of spaces available in both units.

Monday – Friday 7:30am-6:00pm
