Department of Health Partnership Agreement
The Partnership Agreement sets out the arrangements between the South Eastern H&SC Trust and the Department of Health for how our overall governance framework operates. The Partnership Agreement is effective from Wednesday 5 June 2024 and a copy of the Agreement can be accessed here.
The partnership is based on a mutual understanding of strategic aims and objectives, clear accountability and a recognition of the distinct roles each organisation contributes.
Underpinning the arrangements are the principles set out in the Norther Ireland Code of Good Practice ‘Partnerships between Departments and Arm’s-Length Bodies’ which should be read in conjunction with this document. Please find a copy of the code here.
Standing Orders
Standing Orders sets out how Trust Board must conduct its business, consider decisions and ensure meetings are well-run. Standing Orders also contains the Scheme of Reservation and Delegation which details which powers are reserved to Trust Board and which decisions have been delegated to Board Committees.
