This service is confidential and is provided by the South Eastern Trust with the assistance of qualified staff from other Community/Voluntary/Statutory services.

The Condom Card Scheme (C-card Scheme)

The Condom Card Scheme

If you’re aged between 16 and 25 years and live in Lisburn, Rural Lisburn, North Down & Ards or Down area you can get free condoms from us when you register with the C-Card scheme

Condoms can reduce the risk of catching or passing on sexually transmitted infections if they are used correctly. We can provide this from a venue based in Lisburn, Newtownards, Bangor or Downpatrick either for collection or we can send these out to you in the post.

Healthy Online Relationships - eLearning Course

This bespoke programme has been designed by INEQE Safeguarding group in partnership with the SHSCT & SET funded by the Public Health Agency (PHA) for 16 – 25 year olds, to explore the meaning of healthy online relationships in relation to appropriate behaviours, consent, the law and online safety measures. It will promote and empower prosocial activities that young people can use to create healthier social interactions as they increasingly operate in online spaces.

Hosted on an LMS platform, for young people to access and work through the interactive content independently. They will learn to question behaviours online and know what actions to take to protect themselves and others.

Key Topics include: Sexting, Grooming, Exploitation, Bullying and Scams.

Sexual Health Service

The South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust’s Sexual Health Service is based at the Downe Hospital, Downpatrick, with additional clinics in Bangor and Lisburn. You do not have to be referred by a doctor – we provide free sexual health care and advice for all age groups, including testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections and genital conditions. Urgent and non urgent appointments are available, and the service is strictly confidential.
