ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN DURING A POWER OUTAGE – ELECTRIC MATTRESS
The Community Nursing Equipment and Loans Service (CELS) provides nursing equipment for patients in the community, whether it be in a nursing home, residential home or in the patient’s own home.
Following assessment, nursing equipment can be prescribed by your district nurse in the community or by ward staff in hospital.
The provision of nursing equipment can assist with hospital discharge and may also help patients to remain independent in their own homes for longer.
