Mental Health Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists focus on helping people achieve their life ambitions and chosen occupations, such as looking after a home, having a good education and good employment. They work across all ages and stages of a person’s mental health recovery and are recognised as key members of the multidisciplinary team.
Within the South Eastern Trust we have Occupational Therapists dedicated to all Mental Health Inpatient Units, including PICU / Low Secure Rehab and Addictions Services. We also have OT’s within Acute Community (Acute Day Treatment & Home Treatment), Community Mental Health Team’s, Mental Health Care management and Supported Living Facilities.
