The Trust has a number of Supported Living schemes available for individuals with a severe and enduring mental illness. With the expertise, support and guidance from a highly skilled and trained multi-disciplinary Team, all tenants have a recovery-focused support plan which is tailored to their individual needs, and aims to maximise their independence in all activities of daily living. This can include maintaining their home, shopping, cooking, budgeting, maintaining personal care and having a structure to the day and week. The service aims to be responsive and enables individuals to achieve short term and long term goals.
Referrals are made by Mental Health Professionals. Applications are heard at a monthly Supported Living Panel and regularly reviewed to ensure the needs of the individual continue to be met.
Placements are jointly funded and managed by Choice and Radius Housing Associations and Supporting People, Northern Ireland Housing Executive.
