The South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust Keeping Safe training programmes are aimed at anyone working or volunteering with children and young people. The initiative aims to raise awareness of the issues in relation to Safeguarding Children and how to create safer environments within organisations and groups. Training is open to all in the South Eastern Social Services Trust area.
There is a choice of six different training modules depending the of level of training required. Training is delivered by one of the thirty volunteer trainers.
The range of certificated courses includes:

Keeping Children Safe – Training for Managers, Supervisors and Management Committee Members (Module 3)
Keeping Children Safe – Disability (Module 4)
Keeping Children Safe Residential & Day Trips (Module 5)
Keeping Children Safe- Policy Development (Module 6)
Keeping Children Safe – Designated Officer Training
