Festive cheer filled the room as members from the South Eastern Trust’s Foster Carer Support Group came together for a Christmas wreath making workshop.
The afternoon provided a chance for those taking part to create their own bespoke Christmas wreaths using classic decorative touches such as festive ribbons, pinecones and cinnamon sticks.
South Eastern Trust, Social Worker, Joanne Alexander led the group using her wreath making skills as Foster Carer, Bridie Bertenshaw, described the day as, “great fun.” “We all enjoyed making the wreaths and having time to catch up with a cuppa,” said Bridie.
One of the team involved in organising the session, Social Worker Shannon Dunlop commented, “The group was a great success and I was very impressed with everyone’s creative skills, they all did a great job!!”
