Lisburn’s Hilden Resource Centre was a hive of horticultural activity as a group of South Eastern Trust’s Kinship Foster Carers set to work creating works of art by building their own beautiful flower hat boxes. The evening was an opportunity for chat and connection as Bangor’s very own ‘Ditsy Daisy’ gave an expert tutorial on how to create the stunning centre pieces.
South Eastern Trust, Principal Practitioner, Joanna Griffith shared how everyone involved had a, “Really relaxed evening with good craic and our Kinship Foster Carers all went home with a really lovely hat box filled with flowers.”
Joanna added, “We have some really excellent training opportunities coming up over the summer for our Kinship Foster Carers. If you are a Kinship Foster Carer we would love to have you join us as we are really looking forward to our annual BBQ next Tuesday at Hilden, weather permitting!”
