A friendly get-together is helping individuals living with Dementia and their family members connect, share experiences and enjoy social time in a welcoming environment.
The Making Connections event takes place on the last Thursday of each month, from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm, at Kircubbin Community Centre, 4 Church Grove, Kircubbin, BT22 2SU.
The event is a partnership between the South Eastern Trust, Alzheimer’s Society, Peninsula Healthy Living and FFP Ards CIC, bringing together professional support and peer connections in a relaxed, social setting.
Participants can enjoy friendly conversation, activities and the opportunity to meet others navigating similar experiences. The initiative aims to reduce social isolation and provide support for those living with Dementia.
For more information, simply drop in to Kircubbin Community Centre on the last Thursday of the month.
