Two young people who have lived care experience with the South Eastern Trust have ‘kicked off’ their footballing talents in style after scooping two prestigious awards.
Mohielddin Ibrahim Adam and Mansour Mokadam, who both play for Belfast’s Blackstaff Football Club took home Top Goal Scorer and Young Player of the Year at the team’s annual prize giving ceremony. Both superstars joined the team last August and since then have continued to wow both on and off the pitch with their footballing prowess and talent.
South Eastern Trust, Acting Principal Social Worker, Cathy McAlinden said, “We want to say a huge congratulations to Mohielddin who received an award for being Top Goal Scorer and Mansour who received Young Player of the Year Award. Both boys only joined the team last August and since then, they have had so much success. Their hard work, dedication and team spirit has paid off.
“We also want to say a big thank you to Blackstaff Football Club for their continued support and commitment to developing young talent. The encouragement and guidance from Coaches has made such a difference to these boys.”
