Residents and staff from Ravara Court in Bangor celebrated their annual July 4th BBQ with an afternoon of laughter, music and barbecue favourites for the much anticipated annual event.
A taste of Americana was brought to Bangor as the dedicated team from Ravara Court went the extra mile to ensure everyone had a day to remember with a special visit from Summer the pony much to the delight of residents.
One of the residents enjoyed the event and said, “We had a great time at the BBQ and it was lovely to have Summer the pony join us too.”
“We always look forward to our annual July 4th BBQ,” added Ravara Court Manager Ashley Collins. “It is a really lovely opportunity for our residents and staff to relax together, connect and simply enjoy each other’s company. There were Stetson’s ‘aplenty, baked treats and of course, dancing as we entered into the American Independence Day spirit.”
