Ships Ahoy as Bountiful Donation of Toy ‘Treasure’ Lands at Ulster Hospital’s Children’s Unit

Hundreds of Piratix toys and playsets have sailed towards the Ulster Hospital’s Paediatric Unit, much to the delight of children and young people Thanks to a very kind and generous donation delivered on behalf of courier firm InPost, the Piratix pirate toys playsets will ensure some much needed fun, colour and engagement on the wards.

As boxes upon boxes were unloaded, InPost’s Operations Manager, Charles Nguni shared how the company have donated toys to the Unit on previous occasions. “The kits and collectables will provide some fun for the children during their stay in hospital. We thought the toys would be of good use to the children and we are delighted to be able to bring the products to Sharon and her team at the Ulster Hospital,” said Charles.

South Eastern Trust, Health Play Specialist, Sharon Pauley added, “We would like to say a massive thank you to InPost from all of us at the Paediatric Unit for their extremely generous donation to the Paediatric Unit. The sets will go to such good use for our children and young people and they will be given out as activities for the children to use during their stay in the unit and as some rewards for their treatment.”
