Ulster Hospital Bereavement Midwife Jacqueline Dorrian has described as, “extremely supportive” a £700 donation to the Forget Me Not Focus Group from Killyleagh’s True Blues Masonic Lodge No 30 following their successful quiz night.

The Forget Me Not Group in the Ulster Hospital Maternity Unit brings together parents who have experienced the death of a child or baby and provides support connection to families throughout the year.

Worshipful Master Mark Roy explained how one of their Brethren came across a poster for the group while his wife had their baby in the Hospital. “He happened to see the information for the Group and thought it would be good to have them as our chosen charity this year. We held our quiz night at the end of May and raised £620 on the night. The Lodge then rounded it up to £700 to support the Group,” said Mark.

Ulster Hospital Bereavement Midwife Jacqueline Dorrian added, “It’s lovely to have this donation and this acknowledgment from the Lodge and we just want to say thank you.”
