The Mayor of Lisburn & Castlereagh Council and the big man himself, Santa, paid a festive visit to Lisburn’s Thompson House Hospital to spread Christmas cheer.
Santa and Mayor Alderman Amanda Grehan took time to chat with staff and deliver presents. The Manager of Thompson House Hospital, Victoria Quinn said, “Our group FROTHH, (Friends and Relatives of Thompson House) arranged for our special guests to visit and we were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Lisburn and of course, Santa, to Thompson House!
“It was lovely to see the Mayor express her thanks and appreciation to our staff for their hard work, care and compassion they carry out day and daily, all year around.
“Staff were happy to meet with Santa for lots of photos and a chance to really enter into the spirit of Christmas here at Thompson House.”
