Hundreds of Piratix toys and playsets have arrived at the Ulster Hospital’s Paediatric Unit, bringing smiles, colour and fun to children and young people spending time in the unit.
The generous donation of toys, delivered on behalf of courier firm, InPost, will provide much needed entertainment and engagements for children during their stay, helping to brighten their day.
InPost’s Commercial Projects Manager, John Cairns said, “This is our third delivery to the Ulster Hospital and this is for the children and for their enjoyment. We have a great relationship with the staff here at the hospital. I think it is brilliant that the sets will be put to good use and will keep the kids happy when they are recovering.”
South Eastern Trust, Health Play Specialist, Gillian Sinclair added, “This is a great donation and these are special little gifts that we can give out to the children as rewards for treatment. The children really enjoy collecting the sets and I know they will go to great use.”
