The Transport Department at the South Eastern Trust has marked a decade of excellence, receiving the prestigious Logistics UK ‘Van Excellence’ award for the tenth consecutive year.
The Trust remains the only public sector organisation in Northern Ireland to hold this highly regarded accreditation and is one of just three organisations across the Region to achieve this status, highlighting the Transport Department’s unwavering commitment to safety, efficiency and sustainability in van fleet management.
The annual ‘Van Excellence’ award, presented by Logistics UK, recognises organisations that demonstrate outstanding standards in van operation. It celebrates best practice in road safety, environmental responsibility and operational efficiency, setting a benchmark for the industry.
South Eastern Trust, Transport Service Lead, Richard Walker, said, “I am delighted that we have again been recognised for our continued hard work in ensuring our fleet of vans are operating in accordance with industry best practice. The Van Excellence Scheme is the most complete and robust measure of an organisation’s attitude towards the compliant, safe and efficient running of its fleet.
“I am very proud of our entire Transport Team and delighted that we have reached the 10 year milestone.”
