South Eastern Trust Plastics Team Pays Tribute To Retiring Nurse After 39 Years Of Dedicated Service

Colleagues at the Ulster Hospital have paid tribute to Plastics Trauma Co-Ordinator, Anne Diver, who has retired after an exceptional 39-year career in the Plastics Department.

Anne dedicated her entire career to Plastics Services, beginning her journey on the ward before moving into the role of Plastics Trauma Coordinator within the Trauma Clinic, where she has worked for the past decade.

Throughout her career, Anne cared for countless patients, providing expert support and compassion during some of their most challenging times.

Anne played a vital role in the care of victims following the Omagh bombing, demonstrating professionalism and resilience in the face of tragedy.

Her extensive knowledge and experience in Plastics Nursing have been invaluable to colleagues across the service and she has been a trusted and respected member of the Team for nearly four decades.

South Eastern Trust, Acting Lead Plastic Surgery Trauma Co-ordinator, Linda Symington, on behalf of the Team, wished Anne a very happy retirement and said, “Anne has been an integral part of the Plastics Team for almost 40 years. Her knowledge, skill and commitment to patient care have made a real difference to so many people over the years

“She has been a fantastic colleague and friend to many of us, always willing to share her expertise and offer support. Anne will be hugely missed across the department, but we wish her a long, happy and well-deserved retirement.”
