Father’s Day was made even more special for two families who welcomed their precious babies into the world at the Ulster Hospital’s Maternity Unit.
Bangor couple, Hayley and Dale Simpson were enjoying their first cuddles with newborn son Tom, who arrived at 3.13 am weighing 8lb 9oz.
A proud and delighted father, Dale said, “The birth of our son is the best Father’s Day gift I could ever have wished for. We are absolutely over the moon that Tom is here.”
Also celebrating the arrival of a Father’s Day baby were Bincy and Justy Paul, who were thrilled to welcome their daughter, Hannah-Maria.
Bincy said Hannah-Maria’s timing could not have been more perfect, as she was born at midnight, just in time for Father’s Day celebrations. Weighing 6lb 9.8oz, the beautiful baby girl has brought great joy to their family, with Bincy describing them as “delighted” to welcome their new bundle of joy.
