The Down Multi-Disciplinary Social Work Team is hosting a ‘Forest School’ event, open to young people aged 10-16 years who are registered with a GP Practice in the Down Federation area. This engaging and educational event will take place from 4-5 August 2026, between 2.00 pm and 4.00 pm in the Victorian Garden, Downshire Estate, Downpatrick.
The Forest School offers participants a variety of fun and interactive activities such as, nature based craft using natural materials, creative art and interactive games. This unique experience is designed to offer young people a chance to challenge themselves, build confidence, learn new skills, and grow in a relaxed supportive adventurous outdoors environment.
Spaces for this exciting event are limited and booking is essential. To secure a place, please send a text to (07971) 327 789 during office hours (9.00 am – 5.00 pm, Monday – Friday). Young people attending must be aged 10–16 years and registered with a GP practice in the Down Federation area.
