The Down Multi-Disciplinary Social Work Team is hosting a ‘Forest School’ event, open to young people aged 11-16 years who are registered with a GP Practice in the South Down area. This engaging and educational event will take place from 12 – 14 August 2024, between 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm in the Victorian Garden, Downshire Estate, Downpatrick.
The Forest School offers a variety of fun and interactive activities, including mural painting, scavenger hunts, arts and crafts and a special session with a reptile expert showcasing scorpions, bugs and tarantulas. This unique experience is designed to encourage creativity, exploration and a connection with nature.
