Service users from Ardarragh Day Centre swept the board at the recent Saintfield ‘Show Home Industries’ exhibition as their artistic endeavours were rewarded by the judges.
A number of pieces were entered as part of the 3D Art category, ‘Something New From Something Old’ section and watercolours. Such was the wealth of talent on display the Ardarragh team scooped four first place awards and took home the Unicorn Cup for Best Watercolour and the Elizabeth Kirk Cup for Special Crafts.
Ardarragh Resource Centre Day Care Worker Diane Hanna-McKay praised all involved. “The service users would like to thank Ellen McKee, Head of Home Industries and her team at the Saintfield Show which was held at Lawson’s Farm. We want to say thanks for their great organisation and to the staff of Ardarragh for their support preparing for the show.”
