The South Eastern Trust is excited to launch the Down Health and Care Partnership Forum. Two important objectives of this forum, which is the first of its kind in the Trust, are to plan for the future with everyone who uses our services in the Down area and work in partnership to improve the health and wellbeing of the community we serve. This is in line with the Trust’s Quality 4 All strategy which puts excellent care at the centre of what we do.
The focus of the Forum will be to consider local population health and social care needs, to support people to lead healthier lives and to take action to reduce health inequalities.
The Chief Executive of the South Eastern Trust Roisin Coulter stresses, “We in the Trust want to work collaboratively with the local community regarding existing health and social care services and to plan and design for the future. Working in partnership with a wide range of key stakeholders will be vital to the forum’s success.”
Roisin Coulter says, “The Trust is committed to ensuring that everyone’s voice is heard and their contribution will be valued.
The terms of reference and the membership of this Forum have yet to be finalised but the South Eastern Trust looks forward to coordinating an initial meeting in Spring 2022.
