Hope in a Crisis has been born out of the coronavirus pandemic and the complex bereavement needs which face us now.
The booklet is a bereavement booklet for families who lose loved ones.
As a Chaplain Vivienne Manley wanted to highlight people’s feelings and emotions.
“Often as Chaplains we meet people who have various needs.”says Vivienne
“I have discovered that in many cases they have experienced deep hurt in life and often have questions but find it difficult to express them.”
The aim of “Hope in a Crisis” is to address this, offer support but remind the reader that they are not alone.
The booklets are available across the Trusts, though Chaplaincy departments and bereavement coordinator.
We would like to highlight the exceptional illustrative work of Gillian Cooke and the design work of Mel Carroll at US folk design both of whom gave their time free of charge for this project.
