Cast and crew at the Ulster Hospital’s interpretation of the classic tale “Puss in Boots” have received a resounding round of applause after their theatrical efforts saw hundreds raised for the hospital’s nominated charity, the Kiwoko Hospital Project in Uganda, and Antrim’s Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary.

Kiwoko Project Lead, Biomedical Scientist at the Ulster Hospital Ruth Boyce explained that over £800 was raised for each charity. Ruth said, “We would like to thank the cast and all who worked behind the scenes in the production. The panto was all directed by our former staff member Doreen Archer. We want to thank the audiences who came to see the panto and all who bought tickets so that we can support these charities. ”
