Local men are being encouraged to take charge of their health at an upcoming Men’s Health Evening hosted by the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, Cancer Focus Northern Ireland and FFP Down CIC.
Focusing on the importance of early detection and prevention, the evening will include a men’s cancer awareness talk covering prostate, testicular, bowel and skin cancers, as well as sun safety advice as part of Skin Cancer Awareness Month.
There will also be a skin scanner available to check for signs of skin damage, along with general health checks offered on-site.
The event will take place on Tuesday 13 May 2025 at 7.00 pm in Seaforde Presbyterian Hall, Demesne Road, Seaforde. Doors will open at 6.00 pm, with hot food served from 6.15 pm.
The evening is open to all patients from the Down Federation GP Surgeries.
