The South Eastern HSC Trust Recovery College is hosting a Networking Event in Newtownards Town Hall (Arts Centre) on 23 June 2022, 10.00am – 2.00pm.
This event is a great opportunity to find out more about the Recovery College and its free educational courses on mental health. Each course is co-produced and co-facilitated by Recovery College Tutors, who have either a lived experience of mental health recovery or have learned experience of the subject area, courses are designed to increase your knowledge and skills and promote self-management.
The Recovery College promotes three themes: Hope, Opportunity and Control by using an educational approach to help students to make use of and realise their talents and resources, whilst looking to the future and setting goals to strive for. SET Recovery College Manager, Anna Chapman said, “This event is an opportunity to re-connect with the community and voluntary organisations, our students and other key stakeholders, post lockdown, to share ideas about working more closely together in the future.”
Everyone is welcome to attend the Networking Event, you can register by telephoning the Recovery College on 028 9041 3872.
