Spring Booster Programme Coming to a Close

2nd June 2023

The COVID-19 Spring booster vaccination programme will come to an end on 30 June 2023.

Lead Nurse of the South Eastern Trust Vaccination Programme, Kate McGarrigle explained, “I would encourage anyone who is eligible to receive the Spring booster vaccination programme to book an appointment online or drop into a clinic near them before the programme finishes. Covid-19 continues to be more serious for older people and those with weakened immune systems as the level of protection does fade over time, which is why booster vaccination is required.”

Those eligible to receive their vaccines at a Trust Vaccination Centre are listed below:

COVID BOOSTER

5 years and over who are immunosuppressed

75 years old

PRIMARY COURSE

5 years and over who have not yet received their 1st and 2nd dose
