The COVID-19 spring booster vaccination programme has been launched giving the more vulnerable members of our community the opportunity to top up their protection ahead of any potential waves of COVID-19 over the coming months.
This year’s spring booster will be offered to:
- Adults aged 75 years old or over;
- Residents in a care home for older adults;
- Individuals aged 6 months to 4yrs who are immunosuppressed will be identified by their Hospital Consultants and a separate appointment will be arrange for Vaccination
- Individuals aged 5yrs to 17 years old will be identified by their GP’s
- All those 18 yrs and over who are immunosuppressed
- Housebound patients will be identified by GPs and the Trust District Nursing teams will administer vaccinations.
There are a number of vaccination clinics across the South Eastern Trust area:
- Vaccination Centre, Ulster Hospital, Upper Newtownards Road, Dundonald (enter via the front hospital entrance and follow signs)
- Lisburn Primary and Community Care Centre, (LPCCC), Lagan Valley Hospital, 39 Hillsborough Road, Lisburn
Pop up Clinics, Ards Shopping Centre, Newtownards and Bloomfield Shopping Centre, Bangor
Anyone who is eligible can attend clinics at the Trust vaccination sites.

Paediatric Clinics for children aged 5-11 years will be available on Saturday’s in the Ulster Hospital and in Lisburn Primary & Community Care Centre on Friday’s.
Those attending the vaccination clinics MUST provide Photo ID
Those attending who are aged between 5-15 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
