Trust Celebrates Silver Investors in People Award

Children’s Services staff – South Eastern Trust

To celebrate the South Eastern Trust being awarded silver accreditation in the We Invest in People Award (IiP), Children’s Services staff and other teams across the Trust, enjoyed a well-deserved cuppa!

Maintaining the IiP accreditation since May 2011, the Trust continues to be recognised for its people management and highlights our ongoing commitment to improving engagement, experience, workplace culture and practices. This prestigious accolade highlights the Trust’s commitment to excellence in the workplace and employee development.

As part of the IiP process, the Trust works with operational staff as Internal Reviewers who undertake accredited training to complete IiP Assessment under the supervision of an external IiP Managing Practitioner. This ensures our assessments remain real, reflecting frontline pressures and both organisational and service priorities. The South Eastern Trust is the only Trust in Northern Ireland that has taken a rolling review approach to Investors in People.

Delighted that the Trust has maintained silver accreditation, Director of People and Organisational Development, Claire Smyth said, “We are thrilled to receive the Silver Investors in People award.  This achievement reflects our ongoing efforts to create a supportive environment for our staff, enabling them to deliver the highest standards of care and support to our patients and service users. The award reflects the Trust’s dedication to continuous improvement and its focus on creating a positive workplace culture.

”Through ‘Our People Plan’, we pledge to create and sustain a culture where people join us, stay with us, are proud to work here and collectively make the South Eastern Trust ‘A Great Place to Work’.”
