The Executive Director of Nursing in the South Eastern Trust, Dr David Robinson is urging everyone who is eligible to come forward and get their Flu and COVID vaccinations.
Speaking as he received both his vaccinations in the Ulster Hospital, Dr David Robinson said, “I get my vaccinations every year and it is really important this year, as it has been every year. So please come and get your vaccination whether it is Flu, COVID or both.”
Dr Robinson warned that the rates of COVID and Flu are increasing. “We are seeing more patients admitted to hospital with more symptoms. The science tells us you need to get vaccinated every year. It’s not just for you, it is for your family and loved ones who you will be with over Christmas.
“It is also for our patients and all those we care for.”
