Newly qualified Nurses and Midwives had the opportunity to put their skills to the test at a dynamic and engaging induction programme hosted at the Ulster Hospital.
Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Administration Support’s Kasi Spence explained how during the day, the Nurses took part in a range of interactive learning experiences, using game-based learning to help prepare them for real life clinical scenarios.
Kasi said, “This hands on experience not only reinforced the newly qualified Nurses and Midwives’ knowledge and skills, but also encouraged teamwork, communication and critical thinking, all in a dynamic, fun and engaging way.”
