World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

27th September 2021

Staff at the new Macmillan Cancer Unit at the Ulster Hospital have taken part in the annual Macmillan ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’, enjoying some sweet treats whilst raising money for a good cause. Members of the team put their baking skills to the test, creating some masterpieces that were almost too good to eat!

It was also an opportunity for those attending the coffee morning to get a glimpse of the incredible unit which has been developed with the help of our patients who have been central to the entire project.

Macmillan Cancer Support has partnered with the South Eastern HSC Trust to create this state-of–the-art cancer unit based at the Ulster Hospital, which will provide assessment, treatment and support for cancer patients and their families when it opens on Monday 27 September.
